Red Bull Salzburg (RBS) and Austria Vienna have caught up with Rapid Vienna at the weekend.
RBS beat Rapid 3-1 on Saturday before Austria Vienna – who are coached by ex-Sturm Graz captain Ivica Vastic – celebrated a 2-1 win over FC Admira. All three teams now count 38 points.
ÖFB Cup champs SV Ried crushed Kapfenberg by a score of 3-0 on Saturday. On the same day, Sturm lost 0-1 against Peter Stöger’s Wiener Neustadt. Wacker Innsbruck managed a 1-0 victory against Mattersburg away from home.
